Three things the Lord is saying to our Network in this season.
The Tide has turned, and we are in a season of acceleration
and a time of multiplication!

In Luke 5 in the story of the miraculous catch of fish they were in a moment where the tide had turned. The fish had been swept away, they had worked hard all night and caught nothing, but now Jesus asked them to fish again because the tide had turned, and the fish were being swept back into their reach. Now is the time to put out into the deep water of risk and let down the nets into the fish’s environment. God has changed the tides and people are coming close to Him again – it’s time to fish!

The parable of the return of the prodigal son is a story of two people the son and the father running towards each other to reconnect. God is accelerating the desire and the process for reconnection between Himself and His prodigals.

There is an increase in the speed of people’s spiritual journeys as they come to God; what used to take years will take months, that which took months will take weeks, and that which took weeks will take days – expect a speeding up.

In Amos 9:13 God speaks of the acceleration of harvest and growth as He restores Israel so that the Sower and the Reaper overtake one another. God wants to remove old expectations of limit lack and loss and replace them with an increased expectation of fruitfulness.

God wants to multiply our efforts. Previously we settled for addition of 1+1+1 but now He wants to give us 2,4,8,16,32 etc. What we have in our hands is the raw material that the Lord multiplies. In feeding the 5000 Jesus took the little that they had and multiplied it to be abundantly successful. The boy gave up his lunch to be part of a miracle. He didn’t just make a contribution; he lost his whole lunch!
The days of “my contribution” doing my bit for Jesus are over! Jesus is after our whole lunch! To insist on “doing my bit” but no more is not acceptable to a Father who gave His all in His Son. Give all that is in your hand for God to make it into all
He wants it to be.
