Bridlington Pilgrimage Walk

Wednesday 16th April is the Saints day of St Magnus.

On that day, there will be the launch of a Bridlington “pilgrimage route” from Christ Church to St Magnus Church Bessingby and then on to Bridlington Priory, before returning to Christ Church.

This relatively easy walk of about 6.5 miles takes in wonderful views of Bridlington Bay, and some of the surrounding countryside, before returning though the town, and introduces you to some of the history of Bridlington’s Churches.

It gives you an opportunity to reflect on God’s creation, and spend time at the lovely and peaceful churches that you will discover on your walk. Free handout guides to walking the pilgrimage will be available at Christ Church, St Magnus and the Priory.

For those who want to join us at the launch of the pilgrimage walk, and perhaps walk with us along the way, there will be a short service of blessing at Christ Church at 10am, before we set off.
