This reminds us that the Christian life is always about us more than its about me. It is a plural life. This plurality is what the Christ Church Network is all about

Two is better than one is the biblical version of the mechanical term “Synergy”. Synergy is the phenomena that allows two power sources, working in unison, to produce more than two single sources working on their own.

In America in the last century at county shows it was popular to conduct “Horse Pulls”. These were tests to see how much a cart horse could pull. They discovered that a single horse could pull 8000lbs! Two horses could pull 24000lbs, two horses yoked together could pull 32000lbs. Two working together can always pull far more than two individuals. Our Network is a synergistic Network that yokes together individuals to produce far more than we could working as individual congregations.

Partnership and working together not only makes us more productive but it adds layers of protection to us. It’s easy to fall down in the Christian life but partnership means we have people around to help us up! It’s easy to drive into a ditch but I need others to get me out!

The Christian life is warfare but having friends around means we gain both resistance and resilience against our foe.

All in all, two are much better than one on an individual level but also on a Network corporate level. In other words, we really do need each other!!
